It was originally two companies, one named POPEYE’S BOAT HIRE and the other CAPTAIN BARB E BOAT HIRE, which was appropriate in the good old days when Crocodile Dundee visited the Gold Coast. Today, however, with the tremendous growth and numerous entertainment attractions on the Gold Coast, the modern tourist rightfully expects a better quality boat and service excellence. The names were changed to MIRAGE BOAT HIRE to reflect the upmarket quality of the boats and service we provide to our clients. Our large fleet of 22 boats caters for every need, from the mini speedboats, various size half cabins from 15’ to 20’, Sweetwater Party Pontoons, BBQ Pontoons onto the large 33’ BBQ Party Pontoon, Four Winns Bowrider and a 45 person party cruiser.
BBQ Pontoons are full day hire only ex for weekdays from May to Sept, surcharges apply on Public Hols and some weekends.
